TW on TV - JRSCline - 07-28-2003

That sounds remarkable. I would never have thought we'd see a commercial computer wargame playing an integral part of a TV show.

This behind-the-scenes stuff sounds a bit like the part I was playing (along with a couple hundred others) in the annual simulation exercises at Ft Hood a few years ago. Sit in a tiny room with 6 other people and plug in data that's then depicted on screen downstairs for the generals to play with...

What will they call the TW keyboardists?

Cheers
Re: TW on TV - StrategyM - 11-17-2003

An interesting titbit:
---
According to a well-renowned historian on one of the mailing lists I frequent, the opposing force in this series is not run
by artificial intelligence, but by a couple of unseen
technicicians under the guidance of an historian who attempts to recreate realistic tactics.

Hmm...
i knew it,

i already thought that the opposing force was way to clever for a computer....
Volo anaticulam cumminosam meam!
