Very nice collection of photographs!

Any information on this particular helmet?

I'm supposing that it is Sarmatian, considering the swords and in particular the ring pommel daggers in the photos around it. Almost looks like a Dacian helmet that was posted on the boards some time back, not to mention a descendant of the Greek Chalcidian type. Dates available?

There appear to be some later weapons and artefacts mixed in as well. The one sword appears to be Viking, while another seems to be a yatagan.

I'm supposing that it is Sarmatian, .

It says here - http://museum.velizariy.kiev.ua/kiev/ma ... get73.html - that the artifacts 4-10 (which includes the helmet) are Sarmatian, 1-2 c. AD. It also says that the helmet and the swords are made of iron.

Laudes Alexander and bachmat. A similar helmet was found in Romania too. I will try to find pictures.

Damnit! the forum dont allow me to post a pic. say: The Extension bmp is not allowed

Oh well... We need to ask to all members to get DSL at least, in that way we can post large picture like Old RAT v.2

I hate this.

I thought only Huns did that to their skulls .. did Sarmations do that too ?
