Round smaller style shields for Roman recreation - AntonivsMarivsCongianocvs - 04-25-2007 Salve, Is there any evidence that round smaller style shields were used by the Romans in the late Republican to early Imperial times? Valentine Armouries [url:hsip870r]http://www.varmouries.com[/url] has it for $150 plus 20% off this week only! At first glance that really looked like a Roman Equestrian solder with a crest also!
