no one interested ? Cry

interested? - Caius Fabius - 06-22-2007

well, there is a difference between being interested and being able to drop by and help, without a lot of preplanning!

Best of luck, and keep trying!

Show up for some local Roman events and personally invite reenactors?
Offer to buy dinner or provide lunch?

Re: Christimas Journey - Mauritius - 06-23-2007

thanks for the idea Smile

The preplanning already done plus the script .

The Romans just have the fun of being nasty  and moving the public on plus the odd chance of dispatching the odd villager. plus we could never have enough village people
we could have a many camps as we want not sure any one would be interested in camping out in Dec ( could try out your cold weather kit)

Re: Christimas Journey - Salvianus - 07-12-2007

Every success with the project.

Are you looking for the construction worker, cop, Sioux chieftain, leather biker or the sailor??

It's fun to be in the S-P-Q-R!!!

seriously though, my church does something similar. It is fun to harass the tourists, and to shakedown the tourguides for bribes. We also raid the market, and complain about the quality of the produce (swipe an apple, take a bite, scream "YOU CALL THIS FRESH?!?" and trow it back at the shopkeeper).

I'd like to see the photos of yours. PM or EM me if you'd like.

Chris
