Ye Gods PLEASE Help Me with Outlook2000 - Matt Lukes - 07-21-2007

I have always been perfectly happy using Outlook Express and had it set up JUUUST the way I liked it when out of the blue, wondering if adding another 'Identity' I think it was (so I could have a specific signature on some emails and not others), but suddenly it wanted to install Outlook2000 so I clicked cancel, but it was TOO LATE- now my Outlook Express wouldn't work any longer and I HAD to install Outlook2000! Damned Microsoft  Anyway it's not so horrible except that I used to have my Address book nicely in a bar on the left side of the screen and for the life of me I can't find any way to get that back (it was so long ago that I set the thing up in the first place, I have no idea how I did it then). Can anyone help? It's making me nuts- and I don't need to be any more nuts for sure! LOL

Also it's really annoying that the text in the preview pane is right next to the left edge- is there a way to setup the page so it's indented a little? I've tried everything...

Thanks in advance.

Matt (who used to be fairly good with computers until MS started changing things every freaking minute...)

How about changing over to Thunderbird? It'll convert your old email automatically upon install, looks and works much like OE, but is not ruled by the Microsoft Empire.
