The Iberian Conflict (RTR 7)

I recently got the latest ancient warfare magazine which reminded me of the new mod that the Rome total realism team recently released.

It's centered around Iberia and north Africa. You can play as the Carthaginians and try and conquer the people of that region.

If you do decide to play as Carthage you get to have Hadsrubal as your conquering general and even Hannibal becomes of age eventually in the campaign.

The game is heavily scripted so you will get to have missions sent from the Carthaginian senate. You have to face down revolting local populaces and there are scripted consequences and rewards. Eventually or immediately you will be at war with your biggest enemy which is the Celtiberians. I believe they tried to script it in a way that you would follow history pretty well and do basically what Hadsrubal did during his conquest of Spain.

There is another mod about the conquest of Iberia, it is called Iberia Total War, made by spanish modders I think, I have tried it and I like it!

It has a lot of new factions, romans, carthaginians, Turdetans, greeks, Lusitans..
