F-4B Phantom II Illustration
#1
Hello
I am trying new illustration techniques; here is one exercise I finished recently (an aircraft profile illustration).
It depicts an F-4B Phantom II in its early days, serving with VF-102 squadron of the US Navy (circa 1962).
It help me to try and improve some new illustrations techniques.
More aviation illustrations to follow shortly (not only profiles but more "action" ones - an encounter between an Hellcat and a Zero is being done) and also new historic and natural history illustrations.
Best regards to all

You drew that?!

Wow.

I feel proud if someone can guess my drawings in Pictionary. My brain knows what it wants to do but my hand doesn't listen.

Used to see them low flying in Deeside, awesome to see the pilot one second, then see the belly of the plane the next.
