Painted Tombstones
#1
Hi all,

I've been asked to look into a colour scheme for a tombstone. Now, I'm looking for reproductions already made. I know there are a couple around. Anyway got pictures?

if someone have some references which might interest me, these titles would also be more then welcome.

Many thanks in advance.

This is based on a 19th century painting of actually surviving colours:

Not sure what the basis for this reconstruction of the colours is:

There is another painted tombstone (I believe of an explorator) in Heidelberg or Mannheim but I cannot find a pic on the internet.

I also found this one in my collection... from Xanten... No idea whether it´s fantasy, though...
