The story of the American Investment Banker
#1
There was once a successful American investment banker who, having enough, quit his job and went to Italy with the intention of fulfilling his boyhood dream. Fully 10 years he did research for a comprehensive history of the Romans, and at the time he had collected his material and felt ready for putting it down to paper, he suddenly died.

This story I once read in a book about happiness and the author argued that the banker died as a happy man, because, although he never got his book written, he passed away doing what he loved to do. Who happens to know more about that man and his story?
