I added Roman painting/frescos to my [very short] hobby list.
To start learning, I took a watercolor painting short course last summer; and bought Ling's "Roman Painting", Lavins' "Fresco Painting", and Hocombe's "The Place of Narrative".
Web searches yielded some good painting & fresco websites:

I would appreciate your recommendations for good In-Print Roman painting & fresco methods/tools/materials books and websites. [Edit: German, Dutch, French, Spanish & Italian books & websites are good for me. I can struggle with other languages.]
Best regards, +r
