Athenian phalanx?

I have a question: did Athens ever used the macedonian phalanx (with the sarissa) in the III/II century? I know that Sparta did after Cleomenes reforms, but i never found any reference to Athens.

Almost all southern Greeks had converted to pike attound 280 B.C.
Hoplite simplu could not fight the pikemen effectively.
If we belive Plutarch the Acheans were the last to convert.
