Renaissance Roman Style Heroic Armor?
#1
Hi all I am wondering if anyone knows of any good photos of roman style armor from the renaisance. I have only seen a few but I understand there are more. I am interested in seeing roman style armor done by master craftsmen in gold, silver, blackened etc etc. I want to get an idea how the colors would have played off each other on this style armour etc. Just to get a little of the idea of the colors etc. Oh and here are a couple of examples.

I would rather have fire storms of atmospheres than this cruel descent from a thousand years of dreams.

It's interesting how close they are to actual images. But I guess they had access to the same ancient monumants we do...?

The first two images are intersting Sulla. is the full set life sized or a model? The helmet is like a cross of a Thracian and a Roman calvery Mask helm with embossed hair!

By the way are you studying at Uni, or just enjoy looking for these images. I spent time looking for roman armour when I first started looking for gear, and always seemed to get a repeat of the same few sites and images.
