The helmet is very comfortable, but your sight is reduced under the facemask. In sunshine, the helmet gets very fast very hot, because there is no air movement under the mask. The mask is fasted with a simple hinge on the rim, remove the pin and you can easily remove the mask.
This year, our Vexilifer changed the Levy Helmet for a Ribchester Helmet, because he have seen a gravestone with a standartbearer that wear such a helmet (i´ve forget the name
).
