I am now working on a page for my website on the ancient stories about the Great Flood. As it happens, I receive an interesting article from the Smithsonian Magazine on George Smith, the man who discovered the Epic of Gilgamesh (which contains an account of the Flood), and had a most remarkable life. He is really one of the heroes of the study of Antiquity. It's fun to read: here you will find it.
