History Channel Ancients behaving badly-Hannibal

Quote:The television landscape would certainly be bleaker--and we'd have less to chuckle about--if there was no History Channel.

You've got that right, Ron!
We may complain, but once in awhile the channel produces something interesting... and always entertaining, which is their main game.

Ah poor TV-Junkies, haven´t had a TV now in over 12 years, haven´t missed it a bit, all the interesting shows I wish to see I can see over the internet. But some makers of history documentions shows, should maybe inform themselves a bit about what they wish to make a production of. A show about an event that happened 3000BC just looks stupid with lots of THW (guess simular to home guard in the US) trucks and flasching lights, archeological excavations using huge flood lights, und lots of people in uniform jumping around just look like a crummy version of a Indiana Jones movie. As usually people who wish to watch something like that wish to learn something about that time, and not just see a bunch of modern people playing "action man"
