Fringed palla

Hi,

I am designing a palla and would like to construct one similar to the lovely fringed palla here (Capitoline Museum)




Does anyone know where I could purchase some suitable fringing or edging ? I can only seem to find synthetic fringing material which is blatantly modern looking

Used these before (not for Roman period, however):

But they tend to be synthetic materials...you need to ask for wool or silk, and the prices go up accordingly.
