Visne partem mei capere? Comminus agamus! * Me semper rogo, Quid faceret Iulius Caesar? * Confidence is a good thing! Overconfidence is too much of a good thing.

And here I thought it common knowledge that the reason for Caesar's march on Rome, and his subsequent assassination was his desire to adopt the Apple iMac (and the entire i Family of products) as the new Imperial Standard.
This was obvious from the words Caesar spoke as he crossed the Rubicon. Widely misquoted as "The die is cast" in fact what Caesar really said was: "The Dell is cast." And with that he tossed his malfunctioning Dell laptop into the river and rode off into history.
I would add that current research shows that Brutus, and many Senators, held large portfolios of Microsoft stock. If the Empire had switched to Apple OS many Senators would have been ruined financially. Thus their motivation to stop Caesar by any means possible and thus maintain the status quo.
It is well known that Caesar used the Roman's computer experience to hack into and ground all of the Egyptian' helicopters and jets during the conquest of Egypt as well as disabling most of their Armored vehicles!

I heard a rumor that what Caesar was actually looking for was Egypt's 'divine' weapon -- a battle engine so large and so powerful it could destroy an entire world.
No one knows for certain what the ancient Egyptians called this wonder weapon (The Eye of Ra or the Hand of Anubis) but perhaps this temple painting will give us a clue.
