Roman and Punic Tombs found in Cádiz, Spain
#1
A civil archeological new!

Today was revealed that while doing the excavations for a new gubernamental building in Cádiz (old Gádir-Gades, Spain), archeologists have discovered 12 punic tombs from the 4th and 3rd century BC and 28 roman tombs dating from the 1st century BC to the 2nd century AD, with the skeletons and the grave goods, consisting in jewels and amulets. The article says that the punic tombs had egipitian amulets (or with egiptian themes, i suppose). Quite interesting, we will have to wait for the findings to be published.
