There aren't enough legionaries of the Republic out there. I don't think there are even that many Augustan.

Obvious statement, but felt it needs saying.

When we displayed at the anniversary of the founding of the city of Rome, there was as very good Augustan period group from France. Excellent equipment and a nice variety of armour variations.

I have some pics at home somewhere.. trouble is, I'm moving house at the moment so all my disks etc are all boxed-up!
