I'd like to see them photographed with a decent camera. Straight on the scanner does give harsh colours, doesn't it?
Very nice! What scale are those? I've never done lead figures myself.

28mm, I hope to get a decent camera in the not too distant future, the scanner does no favours

I take that back, I have a 54mm lead centurio. Those are very nice, great detail. The figures seem a bit...distorted by the scuplting, which I suppose is a side effect of the medium taking in considerations. I like it though! It adds a visual interest, almost a surrealism to it.

Gripping Beast or Foundry?
leadwarrior.com for the one I mentioned. No idea on those beautiful figures above though.

Edited by: bvsboy at: 8/17/02 2:26:17 am

they are definitley foundry, nor as much facial expression as gripping and a bit chunkier too, still quite nice

If you go to
members.tripod.com/~einhorn/ and look in the miniatures gallery, I painted the Romans on the bottom of page 9, all the stuff on page 8 (Mexican, Gallic and Russian), . All of the figures are 25mm metal, most are either "Old Glory" figures or "Redoubt" Trojans, except for the " Old Glory 15mm Russian WW2".
