Omnibus salutem dicit ZENO
I'm new to Roman reenacting and this forum. I'm making as much of my gear as possible (for both the fun of it and to save denarii).
I've been doing some machining at a friend's shop and have been thinking of trying my hand at making a Pugio & scabbard. Can any of you tell me the range of thickness of the blade and mid rib?
Also can anyone who has made a metal scabbard post some descriptions/pictures of the process?

 I know the abbreviation of the praenomen probably isn't correct, but I just found that out and don't want to go to the bother of changing the registration. Hey, Latin ain't my first Language.
