medicine tools

I was wondering what the main tools were,
used by the medicus exercitus
i know the capsarii had a round medicine box
but what objects did they carry
and did they performed first aid on the battlefield
or instead drag the wounded directly to the valetudinarium?
I already found a list of tools but i'm not quite sure what
the difference in tools is between
the medicus civilitatis and the medicus exercitus.
