Completely random question:
How would one address the Roman senate? "Fellow senators"? "Fellow citizens"? "Esteemed senators"? "Hey you guys"?
Thanks!

'Patres conscripti' springs to mind from Cicero.

Translation? Fellow countrymen? My drafted brothers?

Conscript Fathers would be the most accurate equivalent.
Not as in militarily conscripted. Rather, 'on the books' as members of the senatorial order.
