Thank you for the reply Renger. It is one of the best I have seen.

This is literally the only image of myself I have.
The equipment sucks, yes, but that's because it's only a Loaner kit. I don't have my own stuff yet (besides a Tunic I made myself and Armamentaria Castleford Caligae) and probably wont for another 10 years.

Quote:We all start somewhere. Looks ok! Thanks, This was from last year, at our big event (Castra Romana X I believe) and I'll be there this year at Castra Romana XI (hopefully I'll have a new camera xD) I'm working on improving my gear. I just bought a Crossbow Fibulae and plan on getting either a Tunica Mancata or a Sagum Cloak with a Fascia Ventralis for my birthday. Also, I like your auxillary impression. We have a guy from Legio 9 that comes down and does that.

Why not try to make it youself, it is cheaper and you learn a lot 2. Most fabric things, and even leather aren't that difficult !!! Give it a try.

I would not go for the crossbow fibula, as it is more a late roman
Piece! There quite a few others, the knee type or bow broaches etc that are first century! Unless of course you are planning on doing later roman!?

Quote:I would not go for the crossbow fibula, as it is more a late roman Well, I'm only 16 so money is usually a problem, but I do plan on doing late Roman in the future. Right now there's only principate. What helmet looks better do you think? Intercisa-I or Intercisa-II? Right now I'm thinking more intercisa-II.

The II is more interesting looking! I have a IV which is basically a II
With the fin crest. While not my favourite helmet, they are interesting!

Yeah I was leaning towards the II, I like the intercisas - simple but cool looking.
