Swastikas, Roman Gear, modern reenactment (cont from market)

I talked about this subject with some SCA folks here in America; the SCA people where quite upset I suggested wearing a swastika to one of their events; they are always worried about their public image. This is what I expected to hear from the SCA their ideals are vary politically correct.

On the other hand I go to timeline reenactments with WWII German soldiers there all the time and I have never seen them attacked for what they do; they may get questions but never attacked.

Basically when it comes to the swastika you have to know your audience.
