More reasons for re-enacting, or should I say 'Living History':
to learn new skills
to engage in friendly competition
to gain unique access to historical sites
Other issues:
innapropriate use of or participation in religious rituals & misrepresentation of religious beliefs
Very happy to participate further, discuss ethical & religious issues etc in more detail. Happy to be named as 'Salvianus (Stephen Kenwright) of the Late Roman research group Comitatus'
