I called in on your campsite but it was deserted. Perhaps you were off hitting each other in the arena.
When I wasn't getting equipment to and from the arena for the Comitatus display, I was co-ordinating and commentating for the "Artillery through the Ages" display. That was an exciting experience. Rockets flying over the crowd, guns not going off, broken ballista mechanisms etc etc .
But I enjoyed the weekend far more than I was expecting. Sorry I made your eldest cry.
? Think my toddler would have been up for it though, she's pretty handy with a sword and has one hell of a battlecry!Anyhoo, yeah we were possibly all bashing each other when you came to our LH camp. They mustered at lunchtime and then post-battle they mostly like to pose, do pics and chat with the public so gone for a while.
I'm just resisting temptation to join the Wyoming Wild Bunch
