Greaves are depicted in the Adamklissi metopes, where there are none on Trajan's Column. Many 1st-C stelae also show no armour at all, if not most, so how do you judge how widespread the usage of ocreae was? Bear in mind that manicae are found well outside of Dacia, yet the common opinion is they were only used in Dacia because of the falx, and I can't think of any grave stele depicting a manica at all (I'm sure there might be one, but you know what I mean).
