No car parking for a start, and it's on a public right of way so you couldn't control access.
Badbury Rings would be better. The National Trust are already set up to hold events there.
Barbury (my next candidate) is, unfortunately, on a PRoW.
Badbury Rings is not a hillfort (if you can call it a hill at all), it's call to fame only because of the name (and we could discuss Bad- names until we see blue in the face and still not come to any conclusion). It's a nice spot, granted.
