Yes, I did. I formed the armor in steel, then I sculpted the appliques directly on it with an epoxy clay. After that cured, I textured it and used colored polishes to ge the bronze patina. This armor was for the American Assoc. of Museums show. I wouldn't be good for battles, but it is good looking for parades.
