I disagree with needing to be an "accomplished armourer" to make a segmentata. I am no armourer by anymeans, in fact I'm a bit sloppy but I made my Corbridge A no probs. But it doesn't take a skilled craftsmen to get a metal cutting blade for your jig saw to cut 18 ga. steel plate, as an example. Nothing on a segmentata is beyond the range of anyone. In fact, a lot less patience is required to build one of those than the hours upon hours it takes to weave mail. That's not including rivetted mail, btw. <p>Magnus/Matt<br>
