I would like something that details specific parts of their everyday training not just explaining what the Agoge is.The Osprey Spartan Warrior book is all about this. I have included a detailed Further Reading section.
Spartan Warrior is an excellent book, I've read mine several times over and keep it handy as a reference. Makes a great companion to Lazenby's Spartan Army.
