North Lanarkshire (which Coatbridge is part of) has a pretty rich Roman history with Roman baths, bridges, forts and of course the Antonine Wall running through it!
if anyone has any information regarding Coatbridge that would be great.

On Roman Roads, your best bet is probably to get a copy of "The Secret History of the Roman Roads in Britain" by M.C.Bishop... at the very least it will lead you to the other sources, there is a website that accompanys the book but the maps arn't working for me:

I cant say for certain but I'll take a wild guess that there is a Roman road in the line Glasgow Edinburgh running through Coatbridge, perhaps the Airdrie road?
