Most of the European museums carry what we (in our group) call carpetinas. I will take a picture of them later and post them here for you to see. The work well as a standard shoe to wear and (unless you want to be 100% authentic and hobble) can varry insoles without then being seen, great for people like me that have problems with our arches!!<br>

Here is a sandal that I found on www.vroma.org which my wife has made several simpler versions of, again I will get an image later when she can tell me where she has hidden them.<br>
