Fantastic! Examine that second picture. The helmet, the outfit, even the horse's leopardskin jacket are all taken directly from Peter Connolly's painting of Alexander at the Granicus in "The Greek Armies" (I think it's also in "Greece and Rome at War"). Even the guy riding next to him with the wreath around his Boeotian helmet with the drooping plume is taken right from the painting. Only the crest and plume colors are different. How long have we been demanding that filmmakers do exactly this? <p></p><i></i>
