Argentoratus - Strasbourg?
It was founded by Drusus, Tiberius' brother, that built there the castellum Drusi military camp on the Limes. So it could fit any period from the Julio-Claudians to the second Flavians, till to the famous Iulianus' victory vs. Alamans. It was destroyed in 451 by Attila, therefore the great migrations fans will be glad too... Good geographic position for anyone, BIG event for everybody!
