Firstly I really like some of the symbolic avatars and got used to them, like those (only as examples) of Primitivus, Spedius, Cornelius Quintus, Jasper, my own old one, and all the others.

Gracias. I enjoy very much seeing the actual likenesses of some of our comrades in their military gear... but I also enjoy symbols that represent important aspects of the lives of our members. After all, one definition of an "icon" is as a representation, rather than the actuality.
