1/ Development of "new technologies" may be player dependant - so there's a distinct possibility that segmentata will be available before the end of the game.<br>

2/ It's OK for officers - I don't recall how much of this there is on the videos tho.<br>

3/ Sparta replaced its hoplites with pikemen 225-220BC, so there is plenty of room for them in this game.<br>

4/ Crests are probably OK, segmentata isn't tho.<br>

5/ Regular auxiliaries are an Imperial institution. Prior to the Empire (well Augustus really) auxiliaries would be equiped in their native fashion, and rarely amount ot as much as half the army. Indeed in many cases armies were 80-90% legions.<br>

Or do you mean Latins? Latin legions were probably identical to Roman ones, and the difference dissappeared after the Social wars of 90 BC-ish. <p></p><i></i>
