May I please be a cavalry bore and ask why the connector is thought to be harness? Or perhaps you could show me a ink to the previous discussion as me Search has not produced it.

sure. Simply because over 90% of these finds could be positively linked to a cavalry context. See for instance the second items I mentioned in my previous post, where you can see it still connected to one of the back-phalerae of a cavalry harness from Doorwerth.
