Second late-antique fortress at CUT/Xanten(D) ?
#9
Update:
"Ausgrabungen in der Colonia Ulpia Traiana"/"Excavations at the CUT" is a regular feature of the "Bonner Jahrbücher".
The corresponding publications, however tend to be publicly available only 3 of 4 years after "printed" publishing.
http://journals.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/ind...ue/archive  --- as it says for "2014" : "only toc available"
This very volume is covering the excavations of 2013/14 .
I'd expect it to be publicly available by the end of 2018 and I'm not 100% convinced whether these treatises will cover our above subject in full or at least in part.
(Well in 2012 they still seemed to have been clueless about our subject.)
Seems we'll have to wait. Sad
Like for Stefanie Hoss' doctorate thesis about roman military belts.
(Or am I wrong here and the latter has been published in full this time ??)
