The thing that i found interesting about Rufus was that he was a tesserarius first which means he was a junior officer before he was a centurio veteranus
simliar to my structure also he had 3 different occupation specialities
he was human resources , construction, and military police
my case Music special series, IT management series, and 11 series infantry was mine very interesting .. .
