Delbruk on page 382*is referencing Roman account by Ennius, of a re use of H acount of 3 spies, to three spiesĀ  scipio catches. Sculard looks at this on page 234 and gives you where to look for linkage **

This is where there should be more focus and analysis on Scipio`s reasons for concealing the arrival of Massinissa.
