Anglo-Saxon and Viking-era enthusiasts might be interested in the attached story appearing in the UK Guardian newspaper this week - our oldest domestic residence found so far apparently, but being touted as the location of the "house arrest" for deposed ex-King Eardwulf of Northumbria (although I am struggling to see how this can be evidenced):
