I am trying to track down a soldier of Legio XIIII Gemina Martia Victrix. The name is Caius Arilius Genialis and I suspect he is probably commemorated somehow at Carnuntum. I suspect that there may be no stele for him and that he might be mentioned either on someone else's stele or in a centurial inscription.
The name comes to me from a list of Legio XIIII names someone else compiled some years ago and I have been asked to find out about Genialis. I have already established that he is not commemorated in Mainz, hence my suspicion that he is probably to be found in Carnuntum.
I have the book from the Landesmuzeum Mainz, but I have nothing comparable for Carnuntum, so would appreciate any help anyone can give who may have access to good information on sculptures and inscriptions from there.
