They finally aired the series here on the History Channel. What garbage :!: It's just as bad as Jone's "Crusades." Every commercial promoting the series touts "Restoring Barbarian reputations one viewer at a time" when it should have said "Trashing Romans one century at a time" This was revisionism at its worst. But everything about it has been said by now and it's all true.

And why do they keep hiring Jone's, a clown who delves into history when he's not satirizing it ?

BTW, anyone notice Peter Weller on the History Channel lately ? I had no idea he was an historian as well as an actor. Robocop's a welcome addition :-) ) He actually seems to know what he's talking about.
