Hi.None of them has the eaxct shape and form of an authentic xiphos. I have not seen cast btonze hilts but there must have been at least some.Connolly depicts painted them some times,he must have a reference. The blade needs to be thinned in the place near the hilt. Many re-enactors have used the first example, and it is not so bad.The second one apears to have some more athentic characteristics but it is so crudely made that I'd not prefer it.Given that the third example is the same as the first, with a different scabard,I'd may prefer that one, cince ot has four rings instead of two.As a re-anactor I'd add a guard on the scabard, over the last pair of rings,to make it more authentic. The scabard of the first example is based partly on a sword found at Campovolano in Italy,

I agree, the blade is more straight than leaf shaped as it should be. I love the ones made by Manning Imperial but they are waaay too expensive.

hmmm I'm thinking of the eBay one. plan to add some brass to the top of the scabbard as well as change the bottom scabbard fitting to a wooden more phallic end
as far as the sword, i can just grind down the blade to give a better leaf shape. i asked about the raised ride they wrote about in the description. i hope it means the center of the blade is raised like they should be.
