As can be seen easily from the pic below, the Paestum temples shrunk at least by 70 % since I was there for the last time in 2001. For scale purposes I put my pug BRVTVS in front of the temple and took a pic.
Anyway, BRVTVS enjoyed Italy a lot:
And so did I and our other pug, THE DOCTOR.

Pretty much right after we entered the arena of the amphitheatre in Pompeji, the pugs went rampage and started to fight each other. Must have smelled all the blood that was spilled there once. ^^
And moments like this keep you alive until your next holiday, I assume (The small island in the background had a garvm factory on it in Roman times. Also note: In Cetara at the Costiera Amalfitana they still produce garum as
colatura di alici. I bought two bottles.

I love pugs. You feel like laughing just by looking at them.
They still make garum? That's pretty cool! I would like to get some just to see what it is like.
