I'm looking for international scholarly peer-reviewed journals regarding Roman military history. I'm not looking for popular journals. The journal has to be restricted to the Roman or the Ancient era.
The "Journal of Roman Military Equipment Studies" is to narrow since it only focusses on the equipment. I'm more interested in the military life as a whole.
Thank you.
Edit: I found Revue des études militaires anciennes (REMA). However, I don't find its website for authors guidelines.
Other suggestions for journals are welcome.

What about simply something like Britannia or the Journal of Roman Archaeology? They aren't exclusively concerned with the Roman military but are focused on the Roman period. Or is the 'military history' bit more important for you?

Yes I'd like to publish an article in an military orientated journal. It doesn't have to be an A-ranking (those are too hard to get in).

The Roman Society publishes both Britannia and the Journal of Roman Studies. They aren't just concerned with Roman military matters but do include them.

It may be worth contacting them and asking what their submission criteria are.

I'm familiar with those journals. But they are one of the highest ranked journals. Only the happy few can publish there (very high criteria).
I'm looking for a less high ranked journal, though internationally orientated.

Although that seems to have its own stable of contributors too.

That's more a popular journal for non-scholar readers.
But thanks for the suggestions.

Looks decent at first sight. I may consider that journal.
Other suggestions are still welcome.

Thank you. I was already aware of that website. But I couldn't find any author guidelines or other information to submit an article.
