I'll post first! Is there a journal, book or other publication devoted to the military equipment of the Celts, Germans, Dacians, etc." A "barbarian" equivalent of JRMES if you will. I know Connolly's books have nice, little chapters devoted to this, but I'm interested in something more extensive.

As starter Tim Newarks books on The Celtic Warriors & The Barbarians ?

Well, Tim Newarks books are mostly about history (and very generalistic at that), not about material studies. And alas, Angus McBride's drawings for this series are downright below par.

No, they aren't. Actually, I did not even ask them, because i think their equipment is too late for our period, they do more like 8th-10th century stuff.
