My name is John and I am from Kentucky. Ancient and medieval history has always fascinated me, so here I am! Currently, I am researching various aspects of the Eastern Roman/Byzantine military. Also, I am attempting to get into re-enactment, so if you know anyone who is selling, let me know  Good to meet you all, John

Welcome, John! Whereabouts in Kentucky do you call home? I'm somewhat familiar with the state; I spent a little time in the eastern part a while ago.
